STUART LINDSAY

Stuart was Born in Vancouver BC, Canada, and started his career in sports and show business as a professional ice skater both in his homeland and in the USA. He then studied acting at Arts Club and Jazz dance at Harbour Dance Studio Vancouver.

His first professional credit as a dancer was in My Fair Lady at the Gateway Theater, directed by Shel Piercy. He then starred as Joy Biltmore in Guys and Dolls, winning the EV Young Award for best supporting actor in a musical. With his next role in Me and My Girl he was awarded a Scholarship for the Arts sponsored by the Polygon Group. His next shows at the Gateway Theater were Fiddler on the Roof, Where’s Charlie and Oliver. In 1994 Stuart played the role of Big Deal in the production of West Side Story at Theatre Under The Stars, which was followed by his participation Hello Dolly. While in Vancouver Stuart worked in many films and TV series, including X Files, Millenium, Sirens and the musical film Highway to Heartache.

In 1996 Stuart was hired by C & G Productions in New York to dance in three musical revues for Celebrity Cruises. The engagement was renewed for the next five years, during which he toured the world from North to South America, and from Europe to Russia.

In 2003 he moved to Italy with partner Daniel Dalton with whom he created Starstruck Productions, an independent production company that in just over two years went on to produce three revue shows, three concert series, two major industrial events, and a National tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, with Stuart guest starring in the role of Herod to critical acclaim. After this major endeavour, elated with their success but wishing for a semblance of private life, Daniel and Stuart decided to take a break from producing and go back to full time performing. Stuart was asked back on Celebrity Cruises to dance in four more Revue Shows by Gary Musik. Back in Italy once again, he is now working full time on the LaLa McCallan project.
